Many people are ill informed on exactly what a good glass of wine is all about. In addition to wine being good for you and having medicinal purposes, it cleanses the palette in preparation for a delicious lunch or dinner. It is so enjoyable to sit and chat over a good glass of wine, instead of a cup of coffee. Wine is consumed in some countries in place of water. A little bit goes a long way. Wine should be stored in a cool place with a temperature of 45 to 65 degrees, with 55 degrees as ideal. Wines of all sorts are used in cooking. And, wine is best served at 50 degrees. Open red wines 10-15 minutes before serving at about 50 degrees.
